About Me

My name is Tracey and I am a qualified counsellor.  I offer a safe, calm, and confidential space for you to talk, and to help identify your goals from therapy. I work with adults of all ages who may be experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship, or career issues. My role is to help you understand your situation, to find new solutions, and to give you tools to face future challenges. I practice Gestalt therapy, which means that I believe everyone has the potential to solve their own problems, but that sometimes they might need some help.

I work as an independent therapist and in the voluntary sector, which allows me to work with a wide range of people. I am also a trustee for a local counselling charity, and feel that this gives me a range of perspectives on how to provide the best therapy for my clients.

Prior to training as a counsellor, I spent over 20 years working in business. I also have a wide variety of life experiences, so I understand that life can often present us with challenges. I am located within easy reach of Winchester, Southampton, and Eastleigh, just off J13 of the M3.

I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). As such, I adhere to the BACP Ethical Framework and Professional Conduct codes of practice. Further details can be found on www.bacp.co.ukI am also a member of the Hampshire Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (HACP).

I receive regular clinical supervision to support and inform my practice, and attend workshops and training as part of my continued professional development. I have full Indemnity Insurance and an Enhanced DBS (formerly Criminal Records Bureau) Certificate.

I have the following qualifications:

    • Dip(He) Humanistic Gestalt Counselling
    • BA(Hons) Business and Finance
    • Chartered Public Financial Accountant
